There’s A Light In Málaga

I’ve seen the Arizona skies and eagles over canyons fly
And palaces to keep a man from breathing
But nothing ever felt the way it did that first November day
I walked these streets cathedral bells a-peeling
Shadows like my memories receding

Angels whisper poets lines, invite you in to share their wine
But you never know the cards they could be dealing
I’d been around the world a while looking for a certain smile
This city took me in while I was healing
And gave me something more I could believe in

There’s a Light in Málaga
Everybody Knows, Everybody Knows
It’s a perfect feeling
There’s a Light in Málaga
And everywhere I go, everywhere I go
It keeps me dreaming

And I walk the alamedas
To hear the laughter tumble
From the bars and the bodegas
